REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY (RMT)
Includes the use of techniques to help with overall range of motion and mobility. This treatment may include the use of passive stretching, PNF/ facilitated stretching, fascial release, muscle strengthening, trigger point release, range of motion, low-grade joint mobilizations, proprioceptive techniques, general Swedish massage & remedial exercise as home care to utilize and maintain tissue health between appointments. Registered Massage Therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. This modality can help alleviate soft tissue discomfort, increase range of motion, help with stress management and much more. Brad considers himself a Manual Therapist as his RMT treatments include more than just massage. He also likes to include trigger point therapy, fascial release, passive stretching and low-grade joint mobilizations. Therapeutic massage, sports massage, pre/post-natal massage, Gua sha massage and relaxation massage are available based on your primary goals for treatment. This can be billed under most insurance plans.
REIKI ENERGY HEALING
A form of complementary therapy relating to energy healing. It involves the transfer of the universal life force/ energy through the practitioner’s palms to the client. The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. This technique can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
